Pricing questions
- What does Penstoke cost?
- Every account starts on a 14-day trial with no card. After that: Starter at $29 a month, Growth at $99 a month, Scale at $299 a month. The plan caps what you keep configured — providers, endpoints, buckets, apps, campaigns, schedules, seats and the request rate — not how much traffic you send.
- Is there a free trial, and does it need a card?
- Yes, 14 days, and no. The trial carries the Starter plan's limits across all three gateways. When it ends your data stays and reads keep working — writes pause until you pick a plan, so nothing is deleted and nothing auto-charges.
- Does Penstoke charge for AI tokens, storage or notifications?
- No. You bring your own provider accounts — OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, R2, S3, APNs, FCM and the rest — and those providers bill you directly at their own rates. Nothing passing through the gateway is metered or marked up by us.
- What happens if I go over a limit?
- The write that would cross it is refused with a message naming the limit and the plan, at the moment you try — creating the eleventh provider, say, rather than at the end of the month. Everything already configured keeps working.
- Can I change or cancel a plan?
- Yes, from the dashboard. Plans are monthly through Stripe, and a downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is deleted when a plan ends.
- Which plan includes a custom domain?
- Starter and above. Every account, including the trial, is already served at its own address on penstoke.com from signup; the paid plans add pointing a hostname you own at the gateway, with the object paths unchanged.
