Refund policy
Every account gets 14 days free before it pays anything. If you pay and change your mind, you have 14 days to say so.
In effect from 23 October 2026.
The trial comes first
Every account starts on a 14-day trial that needs no card. Nothing charges automatically when it ends — writes simply pause until you pick a plan. The point is that nobody should be asking for a refund because they were billed for something they never meant to start.
14 days, no reason needed
If you ask within 14 days of a payment, we refund it in full. You do not have to explain why. This applies to a first payment and to a renewal alike.
Beyond 14 days we do not refund as a matter of course, because a subscription you have used is a subscription you have had. But write to us anyway: if the service did not do what this site says it does, or something went wrong at our end, we will put it right.
How to ask
Either route works, and both reach the same place:
- Email hello@nimions.com from the address on the account.
- Ask Paddle at paddle.com/help. Paddle is the merchant of record, is named on your invoice, and processes the refund itself.
Give us the email on the account or the invoice number and that is enough; we do not need a reason and we will not ask you through a retention script.
What a refund does to the account
A refund cancels the subscription. The account then sits exactly where a cancelled plan leaves it: your data stays, reads keep working, and writes pause until you pick a plan again. Nothing is deleted, and your provider credentials are untouched unless you delete them.
Your providers bill you directly for the traffic we routed to them, and we cannot refund that — it was never ours. See the pricing page for what a plan does and does not cover.
Cancelling instead
If you do not want a refund but do not want to continue, cancel from the dashboard. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep what you bought until it runs out.
Chargebacks
Please ask us before asking your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee and locks the account while it is investigated, and there is nothing it achieves that an email would not have achieved faster.
Refund questions
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes. Ask within 14 days of a payment and it is refunded in full, no reason needed. After that window, write to us anyway — if the service did not do what it says it does, we will put it right.
- How do I ask for a refund?
- Email hello@nimions.com from the address on the account, or ask Paddle directly at paddle.com/help, since Paddle is the merchant of record and processes the refund.
- How long does a refund take?
- Paddle processes it, usually within a few working days. How long it then takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer — often another 3 to 10 days.
- What happens to my data if I am refunded?
- Nothing is deleted. A refund cancels the subscription, so the account returns to the state a cancelled plan leaves it in: your data stays and reads keep working, and writes pause until you pick a plan again.
